Guided Farm Tour

The farm owner will guide you through the organic tea farms, sharing insights and stories about organic tea cultivation.

Learn about the environment where tea plants thrive, the meticulous care involved in organic farming, and the processes that transform fresh leaves into exquisite teas. Experience the seasonal charm of the fields as you stroll through the landscape.

 

With each step, you’ll discover the natural beauty of tea leaves and the harmony between nature and craftsmanship. This tour offers more than just sightseeing—it’s a journey to deepen your appreciation and love for tea.

Tea Tasting

After strolling through the tea farms, enjoy a tasting of three carefully selected green teas.

Each cup reveals unique flavors and aromas, showcasing the distinct character brought by different tea varieties and cultivation methods, even from the same tea plant.

With every sip, let the essence of the tea farms and the blessings of nature come to life.

Brewing Demonstration

You will witness a refined demonstration by a certified Japanese tea instructor, experiencing the depth of the craft in preparing sencha.

Matcha Experinece

The matcha, expertly whisked by the owner right before your eyes, is made from carefully selected single-cultivar tea leaves—truly the pinnacle of perfection.

Its aroma, color, and flavor embody the essence of matcha, captivating your senses. Paired with wagashi (Japanese sweet), this experience offers a luxurious moment, allowing you to savor the deep, lingering aftertaste of the matcha. This experience will open the door to the world of matcha, leaving an unforgettable impression on your heart.

Limited-Time Special Experience
Tea Picking & Tea Leaf Tempura

This is a special seasonal experience that lets you truly feel the arrival of spring.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a tea picking experience and freshly made tea leaf tempura. In our completely pesticide-free tea farm, you can taste freshly picked tea leaves as tempura—an exclusive experience only possible here.

- How to Apply: When booking the Tea Experience, please write "Tea Picking Experience Request" in the reservation notes.

Booking Guide
●Bookings can be made up to 2 months in advance.

●The booking limit is 24 hours prior to the start of the tour.

●If you have any specific food allergie, please indicate them in the "Reservation Notes" section when making your booking.

●Guests should be 13 years of age or older.

●If you require any adjustments to the scheduled time or have questions regarding the number of participants, please feel free to contact us directly via email.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are possible up to 3 days before the tour. A full refund will be issued to your credit card. Please allow a few days for the refund to be processed.
Please note that cancellations made within 2 days of the tour are non-refundable. Cancellations or changes to reservations cannot be made online. Please contact us directly via email during our business hours (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Since our farm is located in a mountainous area, taking a taxi from the nearest station or bus stop is essential. The following is the access method using public transportation that allows you to arrive in time for the tour.

Please note that Google route searches often provide incorrect information.


Most Recommended:

There is no direct public transportation from the nearest station to our farm. We recommend taking a taxi from either Keihan Uji Station or JR Uji Station (approx. 30 minutes / ¥5,500–¥6,500).

For those who wish to take a bus to Ujitawara Town, please refer to the information below.

Recommended for the Morning Tour:
Keihan Uji Sta. 9:29 → JR Uji Sta. 9:34 → Ichumae 9:59

Recommended for the Afternoon Tour:
Keihan Uji Sta. 12:29 → JR Uji Sta. 12:34 → Ichumae 12:59

We strongly recommend calling a taxi in advance to pick you up at Ichumae.

For Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays, a direct bus is available.
